Heather Nauert
Heather Ann Nauert (born January 27 1970) is an American broadcast journalist and former official of the government who was the Spokesperson of the United States Department of State in the Donald Trump administration from 2017 to 2019. She is a senior fellow at the Hudson Institute, which is a conservative think-tank.
Prior to her roles at the Department of State, she worked as an ABC News correspondent and news presenter on the Fox News program Fox & Friends. From March through October of 2018, Nauert served as Acting Under Secretary for State for Public Diplomacy as well as Public Affairs and Diplomacy under the Trump administration. Nauert was also named to the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board in 2019 by Trump.
